NNNOOOO!

23 Mar

Daddy NNNOOO!  Don’t eat those bird eggs.  That’s what I was squealing to daddy and running back/forth to mommy so she could stop him.  I saw this cup on the living room table and peeked in.  It had bird eggs in it.  A sure sign that Spring is here, right?

But oh no!  Daddy picked one up and oh my piggy heavens – THUD.  He ate it.  Right in front of me. He ate a bird egg!  I couldn’t believe it and almost passed out.

Thank goodness mommy finally came in the front room and I showed it to her.  She explained these were candy.  Candy?!  Okay candy peeps – you almost gave this oinker a heart attack.  Have you seen your humans eat anything like this yet??

Malted milk eggs are marvelous, but alas, I can no longer partake. Can’t have wheat anymore, which is what the inside is made of.

hahaha….no eggs around here yet. The birds are not around…just the crows. Mom doesn’t have anything for Easter. She’s not organized like your mom. I’d be bummed out if I saw dad eating an egg too.

It was really frightful to begin with. I honestly thought he was eating some bird eggs. I saw a cardinal on my front porch yesterday. I did try to get it – there was a glass door between us. Snorts – I think I might have scared him and that was where the eggs came from. Mom told me that wasn’t the case so I’m glad. Dad has done a number on those eggs – snorts. I don’t think mom will have any when she gets home from the worky place. XOXO – Bacon

It really did scare me for a few minutes my friend. I thought daddy had went grocery shopping out in the front of the Hotel Thompson. Shivers to mergatroid. Thank goodness mommy finally told me they weren’t that kind of eggs. Close call for sure! XOXO – Bacon

Ali says yes, she ate a little yellow chick and then I found out it was a marsh mellow peep. I almost had a hairball thinking she was eating a baby chick.

Crikey Bacon ….. you must be very well behaved. Miss PPP eats anything she sees. She’d have devoured those birds eggs and never for one moment thought about the poor little birdies. She eats the kids coloured pencils if they leave ’em lying around.

Snorts. I’ve learned from mistakes my friend. Don’t think I was always this well behaved – not by a long shot. Daddy did give me one later on when mom wasn’t looking – 🙂 It was pretty darn good I might add… especially knowing that birds were not harmed in the eating of them – rolls with laughter. XOXO – Bacon

What’s up with that right? I sat and looked at daddy for the longest time. Thank goodness of the long standing rule here at the Hotel Thompson, “Don’t eat in front of the pig unless you plan on sharing with the pig.” I can be a little overwhelming with these pleading pig eyes… the snorts help too. XOXO – Bacon

Mom use to love those Cadbury’s cream filled eggs but now they been bought out by Hersey and they have changed the recipe – she won’t touch them. Dad tried one and said they tasted terrible.
