The weather here in the south has been very cold. Even we are cold….which is saying a heck of a lot. The last 2 days here have been lovely. The humidity is fierce! We are not used to it. The brick floor in the lobby never dries….I’ve never seen that before….the same with the brick walls. We are headed to Vancouver via Denver tomorrow. Figures…

We’ve been 15-20 degrees colder than normal most of the winter – but yesterday it was 80F! Despite it will be upper 30’s this afternoon, spring is coming: duck flocks on the lake are moving north, and the early blooming trees like redbuds and pears and happily showing color. Hang on (and will all wish this cold outta here…ducks will appreciate it..hope they’ve got reservations for a nice sheltered spot in transit…)
