Mailing a Potato

22 Feb

IMG_0066.JPG

Supposedly in the postal world – you can mail an actual potato.  I guess with enough stamps, you can mail anything.  But this intrigues me.  Can you really mail a potato?  I ❤ potatoes.  Of any kind.  Of any size.  Of any nationality.

Now with that being said, who wants to take a challenge and mail me a potato?  Do you really think it will work?  Anyone – anyone at all?

mmm – potatoes – hash browns – french fries – mashed potatoes – twice cooked baked potatoes – grilled mashed potatoes – home fries – crispy potato roast – scalloped potatoes –

do I need to go on?  mmm – potatoes

Hmm my mailman says no produce can be mailed. I can just imagine the smell it gets sent to the wrong places.

Slap a camera on that thing and see what pictures it takes. Now *that* would be hilarious in itself. XOXO – Bacon

Crikey ….. I’m intrigued too ….. BUT ….. the last time I posted something to the States it took 4 weeks to get there. By that time the spud would be rotten, aye??

It might just be well past stinking – snorts and oinks. I wonder if it would work locally? I must check into that and see. What a weird thing to try, huh? XOXO – Bacon

Way back when, people could mail small children! I would not have enjoyed being a postal carrier back then. And I wouldn’t want to eat a potato that has been handled by many and rubbed against lots of dirty boxes. So don’t eat them, Bacon! Plant them in a garden instead.

Snorts. I would definitely plant them. But it would be fun to try. And mailing small children – really? OMP – I so would *NOT* want that job. Oh no way! XOXO – Bacon

Snorts! Too funny. It would be a hoot. My mail guy already thinks I’m crazy – a pig getting mail here. He always laughs when he comes to my door. I think it’s because mom always gives him a bag of animal crackers for his troubles. XOXO – Bacon

Tis true. I think packages/boxes take the scenic route around the world, under the bushes, over the hills and frequent potty breaks. Snorts and rolls with laughter. XOXO – Bacon
