February 5th is National Weatherman’s Day. This day honors weather people who work hard in trying to predict our fickle weather. Despite major technological advances, forecasting the weather is still a little tricky and always changing.
The weather affects how the humans dress in going outside in the elements and nature. They watch the wonderful television weather forecasters to dress accordingly. They don’t have the fur coats like we do… well most of them don’t – I heard that Bacon’s daddy is pretty hairy though – hee hee
According to the Air Force News, Weatherman’s Day commemorates the birth of John Jeffries, one of America’s first weatherman. Jeffries was born on February 5, 1744. He kept weather records from 1774 until 1816 – unbelivable!
If you see a weatherman today or you have access to a computer, give them your appreciation for a job well done!

Oh friend – I think there might be some here as well. The weathermen can put the fear of God into a lot of folks to rush for milk and bread these days – R

The weatherman we watch on TV early morning is very funny. On the weekends they have a lady who we love too.

I heard weathermen get letters sometimes for people blaming them for bad weather like the weathermen are causing the weather. LOL.
