DON’T FORGET – REMINDER!
Hey my dear sweet friends. I was recently talking to my friends at Nikitaland about paying it forward. This is something that stemmed from mom’s article that she wrote on living with disabilities. If you missed that article, please read it here. It is well wroth a read!
Paying it forward is is something that we want to start in the new year of 2015. You know the old saying of, “Do onto others as you want them to do onto you?” Well, let’s put it in action in 2015. Every month on the first Wednesday of the month, I’m going to host Pay it Forward with my friends from Nikitaland.
Paying it forward is simple. You do something for someone out of the blue, not asking for anything in return just because you can. It’s little things that count. Karma comes around for all of us.
Here are a few examples:
Pay for the person behind you at a drive thru – could be as simple as a cup of coffee or breakfast.
Help someone take their groceries to their car at the grocery store.
Give extra as a tip to your waiter/waitress.
Visit a elderly neighbor and spend some time with them. Read to them or bring them lunch. Listen to them as they talk.
Pay for the person behind you at a toll booth.
Put money in a parking space for someone whose time is getting close to expiring.
Make a donation.
Cook lunch or dinner for a neighbor in need.
Offer to babysit for free to a couple who needs a night out.
See, it’s the little things that count that make the most. Just being there for someone to see their smile can bring great karma your way. So in the new year of 2015 – let’s Pay it Forward.

I’m there, bro. I collected the good things my staff did this month for other peeps or pets…although my mommas good deed was more an own-goal hahahaha

Hey there my friend. That’s kinda hard to remember. Like you mean I didn’t scratch dad and I could have given him a doozy of a scratch? Or are you more interested in me giving Kali my extra treats?

letting cars get on the road is another one when they are waiting for a break in the traffic.

So true!! Don’t forget this – even if they *don’t* thank you. Which makes mom hot. She says give her a wave or the FINGER but at least have manners – snorts and rolls with laughter. XOXO – Bacon

Such a wonderful, generous idea, Bacon!!! Thanks for starting this project!!! (And maybe post reminders because, believe it or not, things get crazy and we forget which day it is, let alone, whether it’s a Wednesday or the first Wednesday or whichever!) 😉
