Today, October 2 is Name Your Car Day. Whoever knew that there was actually a day to name your car. Most people are in their car everyday, some several times a day. What better way to give your car some character by naming it. I mean why not? People name their boats – why not name your car. You have to admit that your car has personality. Find a name fitting for its performance.
Bacon’s mom has named her cars over the years. Here’s just a few of her names that she has used with the models:
Smart Car named Albert
Chevrolet Equinox named Tank
Dodge Omni named Squeaky
Plymouth Sundance named Cheetah
Chevrolet Tracker named Landi
Mazda 626LX named Jinx
Pontiac G6 GT named Streak

My mother’s last car was Agnes, I remember that. The VW Rabbit was Flopsy.
My current car is just called The Toaster. Not very exciting!

hahaha I guess why she named the Mazda Jinx lol We had a Kim Il Sungs Revenge what was a Hyundai (political totally incorrect,I know, but boy my mom cried bitter tears as we sold that ride), dad’s ride was called The Titanic of Ingolstadt because that thirsty thingy was our doom. Now we have the Elephant Skater whats more a bean can with wheels :o)

Mom hasn’t named our cars at all. I don’t know about the Toyota Corolla…it is very reliable and sits in our garage looking beautiful surrounded by dad’s treasures or in mom’s words junk! The name will require a fair bit of thought.

Mom has only owned 2 cards – her PT Cruiser which she LOVED LOVED LOVED was call Molly and her now her Ford Cmax Hybrid which she called Kitty because the electric motor in it purrs like a kitty

We call our car ‘tuut” that’s the sound it makes when you honk..I don’t know if that makes any sence, Bacon, we better give him a name, like your mom did 😀 Pawkisses 🙂 ❤

Yow me Mum told me her n hubby’z own Tow Truck waz called Hy-Roller (short fer Hiway) as dey used to cruize da Hiwayz lookin fer breakdownz n stranded peepz. Plus da song High Roller waz playin on da radio when Mum was out on a call on da Hiway…whose a clever Mum???
Mum also told me she named her Mum’z Zephyr car Breezy n da Studebaker waz named Baby Doll. Mum sayz her Father’z ferst car waz named Army cause it waz dat wartime green paint. Hiz seckond car waz named Fire altho iz waz burrgundee (Mum thott it waz red!)
Sum Hu’manz wuud name anyfing….
In fact we haz a new mole here n Mum named him Joell da Mole 😉
