Shark Week – Screech

16 Aug

This past week started Shark Week on television.  All I gotta say is this – OMP (oh my pig!)  What are some of these humans thinking?  They are in cages under water, swimming with sharks and ‘hypnotizing’ them by pushing them upside down.  PIGGY DOWN – THUD.

I think I’ll pass on that experience in my little piggy life.  Then you see the people that actually got attacked by these sharks and survived – one guy survived TWICE.  WOW!

And another thing that blows my piggy mind – and my parents is surf fishing.  Fisherman – my dad included – fish on the surf of the beach thinking it’s ‘safe’.  We saw a show the other night where a guy got attacked by a shark and he was only knee deep in the water near the beach!  Mom and dad just shook their heads.  Daddy has gone surf fishing so many times in the past and has been up to his waist in the water.  No more. Be strong my friends during Shark Week – and be careful out there!

What’s the matter with peeps? Nothing in water is good…I know that. The good stuff is only after its out of the water. Imagine to be attacked twice…he obviously learned nothing the first time. Bummer! I wouldn’t watch that stuff…I’d get upset.

It’s unbelievable my friend. We’ve been watching the shows today. I’m thinking I need to cancel mom and dads reservation to the beach this fall. They don’t need to go anywhere near the water! XOXO – Bacon

Bwaahah love it 🙂 I love sharks…the perfect machine….an amazingly built creature indeed 🙂 and yes most shark attacks are in shallow water..i used to go fishing with my father out in the ocean..water was ink black..i was only little but I would be overboard the moment he cut the engine..the water at the surface warm from the sun ..but down a little bit ice cold…seaweed and fish brushing past my legs bwahaahaa…I did get stung my a stingray cut my knee..and that was in knee deep water…I trod on it…call me weird …love the ocean 🙂 hugs and loves Fozziemumxx

You are my adventurer my friend – my fear factor pal! You know my mom and dad go to the same beach every year. Daddy has fished in waist deep water for years. You never think that’s all it takes. Mom has went out over her head to play with wild dolphins several times. Makes you think about things now. But like you – they love the water.
      XOXO – Bacon

Hahaahaah go mum and dad Bacon! your chances are pretty slim…dusk and dawn..worst time..all about being aware of your risks…Dolphins would take off if sharks were around…they feed in similar conditions though 😉 Loves Fozziemum xxx

That’s fantastic to hear since mom thought she would be like one with the dolphins and swim with them. It about threw daddy over the edge with worry! XOXO – Bacon

I agree with you… Jaques Cousteau once said, we would scream when we would know what’s below and around us when we swim in the ocean… Think he was right… I better avoid water generally, even that in my bows, I will learn to drink from bottles :o)

a bubble on the head?…hmmmm… maybe we better get our own submarine (a yellow one lol)

        08/17/2014 at 11:09 am

You’ve seen those old time scuba outfits that used the bubble that fit completely over the head? That’s what he had on. Most strange it was. I like the idea of a submarine. Then the sharks can’t bite you. Yep. I would go for that brother. XOXO – Bacon

I saw a shark while diving at the Great Barrier Reef. I can’t imagine doing it voluntarily, even with a cage! I can still see this shark circling and looking at me from the side of his head. Piggie shivvers!
