May 6, 2013 is International No Diet Day – yes this is a day that I think me and the pig can definitely enjoy! This day encourages everyone to appreciate the bodies they have and that we all come in different shapes and sizes. There is no ‘right’ shape or size to be happy. If you are watching what you eat, take today as a holiday and excuse for being a no diet day. Enjoy my friends!
Did you know that International No Diet Day was created by Mary Evans Young in 1992? She was the director of “Diet Breakers”. She personally experienced anorexia and worked to help people appreciate themselves for what they are and to appreciate the body they have.
