Monday brings us a lot of choices in life. It’s the first day of the work week and it starts the ‘feel’ and groove of the new week. It’s another week to start over and fresh. It’s also a great night for television which leads us to choices – choices and more choices. And tonight, we have a dilemma at the Hotel Thompson.
Choice A –
Being Human airs on the SyFy channel. Great show. This show is going on the fourth season and we’ve watched every episode. It’s good. There’s Aidan Waite (a vampire), Sally Malik (a ghost), Josh Levison and Nora Sergeant (werewolves). They all live together and their lives have all intertwined with each other through friendship and surviving their individual ‘characteristics’ that they bring to the show. Season 3 ended with a blast in the title “Ruh Roh”. We have a loose end, Kenny, that can still come back. Liam is gone – so there goes the pure breeds. Sally is now in what should we say – purgatory – with Donna. Josh is again a wolf but there’s some connection to Donna. And, in the last shot of this episode, we see someone that looks like Suzanna (Aidan’s wife) appearing on screen. WTP (What the pig)!? Exciting – totally exciting this fourth season is going to be.

Choice B –
Sleepy Hollow airs on the Fox network tonight. This is the first season for this show and tonight is the season finale – two hours. Hopefully tonight will tie up some loose ends. What happened to Ichabob’s son? How does Abbie play into everything? The show is actually broken into two shows – hour one is titled The Indispensable Man and hour two is titled Bad Blood. Sacrifices are made and loyalties are tested – that’s what I’m reading about that should happen. How in the world could we miss this??

So choices – choices – choices. They both come on at the same time. I don’t have a DVR. I have to pick one over the other which is so hard. And, I don’t want to flip back and forth – I would definitely miss something. You gotta help me out. What’s a little piggy to do? Run back and forth from the living room to my bedroom trying to watch both? I need some help my friends. What will YOU be watching?

Well Bacon in my house we don’t have cable…..AND my parents turn off the tube at the ridiculous hour of 8PM! Both of those programs sound like winners though – I do hope you were able to figure out this dilemma – DO TELL – so what ARE you going to do??????

We’re watching Sleepy Hollow atm suspect we’re a bit behind you. Last episode we had demonic possessions – creepy stuff! personally I’d stick with Sleepy Hollow:-) I’m sure Being Human will be repeated soon enough

I hate having two shows I like at the same time. I am lucky on my cable we have on demand and sometimes you can watch the shows you missed. My son loves that Being Human show. Not sure what I am watching. My show ended last week,

I think on Mommys next vacation she could think about doing what my friends just recently did. Instead of going away or even having outings (as a one off) they updated and got a professional in to set up their electronics. They are excited about something called “blueray” which is funny because I think of the rays in the ocean which are dangerous. Anyway it would be nice if you could tape something while something else was on. We don’t have much on to watch here but we get American shows that are good from time to time but they are on late. 🙂

OK, I’m exhausted after staying up past my bedtime & two hours of gasping over the over-the-top twists & turns of the only TV show I will actually schedule my life for–that’s right, “Sleepy Hollow”! (Or my case, sleepless because how could I sleep after all that drollery & jaw-dropping plotification? BTW, how will we make it until September to find out what happens??? Talk about your non-instant gratification!!! Isn’t this supposed to be the 21st century? 😉

Oh I so feel you my Sleepless Hollow friend – snorts. I was thinking about you the entire time. If I had your number, I would have had you on speed dial for that ending. I so didn’t see it coming. Mom sat and simmered overnight thinking about it and WOW. There were so many answers but on the other hoof so many more questions. I would have *never* guessed the ending in a million years. “HE” (you know who I’m talking about – doing want to give away too many spoilers here) looked so much older than them.
