Enough With the Spam!

15 Nov

Are you tired of getting all of this Spam lately?  I just can’t take it anymore.  Stomping piggy hooves!!  Enough already – Spam should be outlawed – snorts.

You thought I was talking about email and blog spam?  Silly humans.. of course not.

I’m talking Spam.  Do you know what this stuff is made out of?  Come closer and I’ll whisper it to you – sshh – pork products.  You do realize what that means, right?  The Spam site explains it this way:

Spam is made of two cuts of the same piggy – the shock of that!  It says that the cuts come from (A) the pork shoulder because of its juiciness, tenderness and flavor and (B) the pig’s rear which is surprise – thick and flavorful.  OMP (Oh my pig!)  It’s bad enough that daddy looks at me sometimes feeling my rump wondering how many biscuits I would make.  The nerve!

I have to stop this insanity.  Why does it have to be pig?  Why can’t it be cow?  Heck, why can’t it be tofu?  Yep, I think personally that’s the way to go – tofu.  🙂

Let’s start a campaign now and take a stand – NO SPAM.  But I do have to say thank you to the Spam peeps – I am jucy, tender and flavorful – sticks tongue out!  Happy Friday my friends!

Take Note:  This was all in fun jest.  I’m not dishing the Spam makers or eaters.  I was having fun.

I wouldn’t trust them too much, Bacon. I don’t think anyone knows what Spam is really made out of, even the people who manufacture it!

My human daddy is from the town in Minnesota where they make Spam, and he won’t eat it. What does that tell you?

snorts – It has to be bad then. Mom and dad said they don’t even eat it. But you know, I was shocked that it is *very* popular in Hawaii. They use it with everything. I guess I need to take Hawaii off of my want to travel and see list huh? snorts XOXO – Bacon

I think people think Spam is some sort of artificially created product. ICK! Wow, use is up in Hawaii, huh? :/ Be careful calling yourself juicy, tender, and flavorful! 🙂

Well I TOTALLY get your “down with Spam” idea Bacon but I have to admit – my pawrents love the stuff…..of course they’re both older than dirt and back then, Spam was “IN” and on the menu frequently……my Mom says she really never thought about it being made from – well – you know what!!! These days it’s a rare occasion when it’s on the menu but it still occasionally rears its’ lovely smell, frying in the pan. I have to admit this (don’t tell anyone though) – I DO like a tiny bit of it myself!!! EEEEK!!!! Please don’t hate me!!!!! 😀 😀 😀

Tsk tsk tsk Sammy. I’m clicking my tongue on my teeth – snorts. I kind of take this as a compliment on one hoove. Y’all find me as what did they say flavorful and juicy – snorts. But on the other hoove, as mommy explains it is a different kind of pig. Peeps don’t tend to eat my kind – a mini pot bellied pig. And you know, I’m probably tough and hard if they tried. Yeah, that’s right. I’m sticking to that piggy thought process – snorts. XOXO – Bacon

I agree: NO SPAM! Our kitchen is totally spam-free, sadly our computer not. Butt that’s not Spam from a piggy, that’s spam made from idiots :o)

At first I thought you were ranting about web spammers but then I caught on. (It’s Saturday morning & I haven’t had enough coffee, apparently!) Haven’t eaten the other spam in years but man we sure did when I was growing up! White bread, fried spam & mustard. Er, thanks for the memories! 😉

I saw a picture of the can of Spam on the internet one night when I was surfing. I didn’t know what it was. I told daddy about it. I thought it was computer spam but daddy set me straight. Bless his little heart – rolls piggy eyes. He’s always so good to me. PLOL (piggy laughing out loud). XOXO – Bacon

You’ll be glad to know that I don’t like Spam…nor any other pig products as it comes to mind. In fact, the smell of cooking bacon used to make me so sick I couldn’t go to a breakfast joint. Now I can handle it, but I still don’t really like it.
