A lot of people look at math and numbers and screech out, “Eeww”!
My mom is different. It runs in her family. Her sister is the same way. They like numbers. They like math. They do math problems to relax. Weird aren’t they? To them dealing with math, is as easy as tying your shoes. I don’t agree. That’s why me and dad wear shoes that slip on or use velcro – snorts. Also to me, dealing with math is like a dog working a yo-yo. It just isn’t natural, right?
But I have something for you this morning that will blow your mind my friends. I want you to get out a piece of paper and a pen and/or pencil. Now, here’s the scary part – pay attention now. I want you to write down exactly what I say below. Okay? I’ll help you out each step of the way. I learned something while I was gazing at the calendar this morning and it was totally cool.
Write down the number of the month. This is November so it would be 11.
Now write down the number of what day it is. Today is the 12.
Now write down the two digit year. 13
What do you have for today when you write it out? 11/12/13
Neat huh? Who said numbers can’t be fun? Now go share 🙂

HaHa! I play around with numbers too Bacon. I write knitting and crochet patterns which are all about numbers. I try very hard to keep my patterns easy to follow so I am always trying to “deal with” remainders” or leftover numbers. A pattern is supposed to be a pattern and remainders throw the pattern out. (your Mom will get it) 🙂

Oh Bacon I hate maths and numbers…I get all combobulated over them ..hubby is the math man but he is a musician and they are generally maths inclined..i get him to help if I have a math problem..like 2=2 hehehe hugs Fozziemum xx

I started Psych as an adult but found I was preggers with twins..already had two littlies so went nup!! gave up….determined just to be nuts instead 😉 your little guys doing well today too 🙂 Bashful is quite the Film maker..already as two videos under his belt this morning hahahh hugs Fozziemum xx

He sure is we went to the vets as I forgot to pick up some meds for Marbles Arthritis yesterday..everyone was asking how our international guest was..he was in my hand and jumped on to the counter when he heard Dr Rayya talking out back had a hard time getting him back hehehe 🙂 his videos are up on both blogs so he is multi tasking!! 🙂 hugs Fozziemum xx
