Inquiring minds need to know 🙂
When you talk to your friends and family about your blogging friends, do you tell them that one of your friends is a cute, adorable, domesticated oinker?
What do they say?
Are they shocked that I’m so educated and that I try to stay on top of things in the world? Are they shocked that I can type? Are they shocked that I can express my feelings? Are they shocked that I can take pictures with mom’s camera?
OR
Are they amazed at my sense of humor? Do tell? I really need to know. Moms friends at work think she’s crazy. I’m not sure why. She’s raised me well?

Your mom has raised you very very well! I have to admit I haven’t told many of the pups at the dog parks about you because they might want to eat you, because the bacon food is dewishus! The Grand Paw makes some for me on Saturdays. If only you weren’t named after a food, but I wuvwuvwuv you all the same my Bacon! Wooooowooooooooo

aaww – you are sweet to this um…piggy. I won’t say the “B” word – no not that “B” word – my name the “B” word – snorts. Thank you – I think mom has done a good job. I can’t say that I’m perfect – far from it. I do tend to find my trouble, especially with daddy. He doesn’t wear the rose colored glasses that mom does – snorticles. When I tell people about my blogging friends, they just start laughing and say “Squirrels don’t have blogs, silly!” Oh, if only they knew what we animals can really do!

None of my friends or family seem to think me being friends with a sweet little piggie is unusual.
I am knitting you a cowl at the moment. I suppose it you think about it, an Aussie women knitting a cowl for an american pig isn’t something you hear of everyday…unless you live here of course.
Every one here know and loves you Bacon and gave opinions when I was making your pattern. They think your Mom sounds very nice and not at all crazy.

I normally talk about my blogging friends to my hubby or at blog conferences. And yes mentioning you is one of my favorite things because you are a southern piggy named bacon. 🙂

If we can have ducks for friends, folks aren’t too surprised to find we have a pig for a friend, too. Hey, it’s Charlotte’s Web, right? (And, yes, we have spiders for friends now, too!!!)

Yay! That’s exactly what we need to hear! There’s nothing strange whatsoever hearing about ducks, pigs or spiders that actually have character and a lot to share! XOXO – Bacon

I thought of you this morning, Bacon, when I read in the paper that a cute little pig was going to be allowed to stay in his suburban backyard. The city was not happy with this decision, but all the neighbors came to his defense. You have such a wonderful, safe home! I’m glad you’re one happy pig. 🙂

Aaww. YAY for your local piggy! Way to go for the neighbors banning together. I am very happy in my little home and community. All of moms worky friends know about me and try to keep me safe and happy. They always joke with her about living with a pig and them working with pigs – snorts. XOXO – Bacon

My humans were on a bus trip a couple of weekends ago and the man sitting behind my mommy saw lots and lots of pictures of dogs on her phone. Mommy explained to the nice man that I have a blog and that I’m also on Instagram and Twitter. Mommy told him that lots and lots of animals blog and have social media lives, and that’s when the nice man said this: “Well, as a psychologist I could probably say a lot about that.” Mommy asked him very politely not to. 🙂

Snorts. Your mommy was so right to tell the man not to say anything. Apparently he has not experienced the true love of an animal companion. There. Let him psycho-analyze that. And snorts – you can imagine what he would say about my mommy having a pig. LOL. XOXO – Bacon
