Movie Night – Rock Style

   Saturday night the Hotel Thompson had an open social so that Bashful, Manny and Princess Coralena could get to know one another.  For the occasion, mom got a 2006 Francis Coppola Pinot Noir out of the wine cellar and opened the bottle.  I mean heck, Bashful did some drinking in France so I guess he’s old enough now.

The bottle was popped and the social began.

It was a very entertaining night.  Manny has so many wonderful stories from France.  Bashful talked about his time with Easy and some of the things that were not posted.  There are some things that happen in France that stay in France my friends 🙂  Princess Coralena opened up and talked about her life in Hawaii.  It turned out to be a wonderful evening.

Sunday, they all cuddled on the sofa, mom made popcorn and we all watched a movie.  The rock trio got to pick the movie and they chose a classic, “The Pebble and the Penguin.” It was the cutest movie ever!  We all enjoyed it, even dad.

After the movie, they all helped Bashful pack for his new field trip.  Princess Coralena and Manny were so excited for Bashful.  They talked about his adventure, where he was going and pondered into what kind of activities his host family would do with him.

Monday morning, they all hugged and said their goodbyes.  So far, so good.  Everyone is getting along just fine – just like we’ve been together forever!

 

Messy Taco Night

I’ve been meaning to share this video with all of you for a while.  A short time ago, mom introduced me to taco night.  mmm – taco night.  The first time I had one, I wasn’t real sure what to do with it.  I figured it out really quick.  The second time I had one, I was a pro at woofing that taco down – snorts.

Mind you, taco night was extremely messy and not for the weak of heart.  Thank goodness towels can be cleaned… as well as this little piggy.  Get your clocks ready to see how long it takes for me to snarf down one delicious taco.  Yummy!

I share this with you now because I got another one tonight.  Mom/dad said it was because I have been extra sweet lately.  If that’s all it takes to get extra food, call me sugar cause I’m going to be dripping with sweetness my friends!
