Mystery Solved!

26 Aug

Call off the FBI invitation to the Hotel Thompson for fingerprinting.  Call off calling Jessica Fletcher from Murder She Wrote.  Call off calling Mystery Inc from Scooby Doo.  Call off calling Columbo.  Call off Joe Rogan from Joe Rogan Questions Everything.  The mystery has been solved!

You’ll remember last week that dad’s “holey” t-shirt mysteriously disappeared here at the Hotel Thompson along with the front room television remote.  They have been found unharmed!

We, as in everyone – mom/dad/Hemi/Mouse Girl/me and even Journalist Rocky the Squirrel, helped with the search.  We searched rooms, drawers, cabinets, corners and even closets.  Apparently when daddy was putting away clean clothes, he happened to have his favorite t-shirt and remote in hand.  He put them with my clean towels and clothes in my dresser.  Not a place that we go into every day.  They have been located, unharmed and they have been returned back to their normal places.  Yep, that means daddy is still wearing the old holey t-shirt that is being held together by only a few threads.  Really daddy?

And this means that *I* have my television remote back now for my room.  Hello remote – I’ve missed you so much this weekend!

Thank you so much friends for my hunt and find mission!

It was in the dresser? Wow that dad! I’ve read when a shirt has enough holes, then even the holes will hold it together :o) I’m glad you have your tv remote back, imagine a life without a tv remote….uhoh!

I imaged life this past weekend without *my* television remote in *my* bedroom. It was the pits! I finally figured out certain buttons on my remote in turning the television on/off if I couldn’t sleep. Not to have it this weekend, that was hard living for this little oinker!
I think you may be right about the holes in dad’s shirt. I think they are helping each other out. XOXO – Bacon

Snorts – Personally I think daddy was testing me and my mystery finding solutions. He should know by now not to question my sleuth finding ways – snorts. XOXO – Bacon

Does your Dad sometimes put the car keys in the refrigerator? We call it “Old Timer’s” Disease in my house. sometimes the brain doesn’t catch up to what the rest of the body is doing! Don’t be too hard on him!

I’m not being too hard on him. Him and mommy both do incredibly amazing things – snorts. Sometimes I just have to brag about it from my piggy perspective, you know. XOXO – Bacon

I am so pleased. I thought of you this weekend when I lost my billfold. I found it in a drawer where it should not have been as well. Possession of REMOTE CAN BE SO IMPORTANT…

Yes possession of the remote is everything in our household. Especially possession of *my* remote – snorts. That’s why I have my own television. Sometimes my tastes are not as catered to mom/dad’s tastes. And then there are the times that shows aren’t rated PA (Pig Approved). I like having my own remote and television. Doesn’t every pig? The reunion must have been quite emotional Bacon! at least it didn’t turn out like an episode of Midsummer Murdulators! I feel sorry for mummy though..hope dad doesn’t hook his holey T-shirt up to a GPS..or it may never “go missing” again 😉 Hugs Fozziemum xxx

Forget the t-shirt, please tell me what is your Mom’s secret for getting your Dad to put away clean clothes? Solve that mystery, please?

Snorts. Daddy has very limited vision so he’s a stay at home daddy taking care of me during the day while mommy is at the worky place. It’s a nice arrangement for mommy cause that way dad takes care of the Hotel Thompson. I’ll have to do a posting about this one day. It’s kind of comical. XOXO – Bacon

Ohhhh, I have a “househusband”, too. Your Mom needs to share her secret. 🙂
