I listed to some new music this weekend. When mom was cleaning the house, she put Elvis on. That was some fantastic swinging music. I couldn’t help but to shake my hiney. Me and mommy even danced a bit together. It was fun. Maybe next time, daddy can take a picture of us. I even helped her clean.
I think I’m going to practice up on my singing. Maybe I can become Elvis Pig. I think I would be awesome singing Heartbreak Hotel!
MOTHER PIG: What did you learn in school today? FIRST PIGLET: Oink! Oink! SECOND PIGLET: Oink! Oink!

Saturday night I had company. Momma said that these days I get more company than her and daddy. The neighbor came over to see how big I’ve become. When I have company, you know I have to show off. I just strut through the house, up and down the hallway and all around. I’m cute and I have to show it off. I jump in mommy’s lap and give her snout kisses. I make slurping sounds. I wag my little tail and waddle on the floor.
Saturday night I thought I would be cute and run behind the big couch. I’ve done it in the past and I know mommy doesn’t like it but well I like to get a rise out of her sometimes. I didn’t know she put big fluffy pillows on both ends so I couldn’t get through. What she didn’t know is I’m really pig headed – snort. I jumped over the pillow. That was where I made my first mistake. I got stuck. My butt was in the air, my tail was wagging and my feet were running but I was going anywhere. I had to call for mommy to come save me. It was so embarassing with company there to see me. Mommy had to pull me out because my belly got in the way. Everyone was laughing and they still thought I was cute but come on – I got stuck. Mommy held me afterwards. I was tuckered out from trying to get loose. She told me not to do it again. Sigh… I probably will. You know, because I’m pig headed.
I spend a lot of time sleeping. It’s what pigs do. I especially love laying on the couch beside mommy and sleeping. She rubs my belly and my back and I feel so comfortable safe and with her. This picture here mom was lucky. She got me in mid yawn. See those massive jaws open? I yawn in my sleep. Mommy says it’s funny to see me yawn. You really don’t expect to see teeth and my bottom lip because of my snout. It really is quite the sight. She’s been trying to get a really good picture of it. This is as close as what she has gotten so far. She says I move too fast at times and that’s why it’s hard to get the ‘perfect’ shot.
This is another picture that mommy took of me when I was sleeping. In this shot, you can actually see my cute little snout and my bottom lip. Mom says I look like a cute little angel sleeping here. You know I can do no wrong when I look this cute – 🙂
People often ask me what I do around the house. One of my favorite things in the world is to snuggle with mommy. I crawl up beside her on one side, go behind her and then snuggle up to her leg on the other side. See, there is a system to my madness. I try to get as close as possible to her so she can feel my heartbeat. It’s what I would do with my real mommy and she is my adopted mommy. Then she pets me and we watch television. She says that I drool like a St.Bernard. I’m not sure what a St. Bernard is but I guess I do drool a little. You can see it in this picture. It’s just when I go to sleep and get comfortable, my mouth opens sometimes and water escapes. Mommy doesn’t care.
This picture here is where I climbed behind daddy. He was watching television. See the look on my face – you can tell I was up to no good. I like crawling behind him and then jumping off the side of the couch. It’s a little fun game that I like to play. The purr things walk by and they don’t see me until the last minute. It’s a shocker for both of us. We’re all about playing tag in our home.

There were lots of men in our front yard Saturday working. They mentioned something about a pipe being replaced. I got to watch all of the excitement from the front door. I kept telling mommy that I could have helped. I’m great at digging holes with my feet and little snout.
They were amazingly fast in their work. They had everything done within 2 hours! I couldn’t believe it. They were nice people too. They kept petting me.
