Momma says that this day only come every four years. I thought she was joking at first. She said my great grandmother was born on leap year. Poor thing. Can you imagine only having cake every four years? I can’t. I’m looking forward to my first birthday cake this year.
Well, today is special so everyone enjoy!
You’ll find me and my partner in crime.. I mean brother.. playing around with the toys often. Sometimes we play tag. He slaps my bottom. I slap his and then we chase each other up and down the hall and through my room. Sometimes he even sleeps in my guest bed in my room with me at night. Kind of like a sleepover. We watch my television together. Sometimes – not often – we even let our sister come in with us.
Moms been playing again with my pictures. She says she’s looking for decorations for pictures on my wall. Whatcha think?
Well he almost had it right. I will look you in the eye but I have to kind of stand to the side cause I can’t look you straight ahead. And yes you are my equal. LOl
Snicker snort. Call me a little magician. Mom got on the phone tonight and I was roaming around. When she got on the phone she asked dad where I was. Snort – I found the buffet in the kitchen. I snuck in while she was on the phone and pulled the lid off the cat food. Then, I climbed in and was enjoying the buffet. Bye bye “D” word. Nice knowing you! Evil pig snort.
Well, I heard a word today that I thought I would *never* hear. It was the “D” word – Diet – THUD! Mom talked to the pigiatrician and said I needed to a lose a little weight. This is totally new to me. I mean I am a pig. That’s what I do. I eat.
Mom said though I’ve been having a problem with my eyes. I know I have ridiculously bad vision but it has been worse lately. The pigatrician said I had put weight on around my face area and that was pushing against my beautiful eyes. So, here we are. Cutting back on my snacks and my bedtime treat. Mom said if I lost weight, she would lose weight with me. That’s my mom – always thinking about me. I love her.
I’ve been studying and learning a lot lately. I know some of these things are going to shock you so you may want to sit down. They are true thought. Nana saw me do some this past weekend. (hey nana-lick)
So here it goes. Things I have learned lately.
First of all, I know it’s hard to believe but this pig can jump. I can jump on the couch all by myself and snuggle with mom and dad. I even jump up and down when it’s time to eat – I get so excited. I know it’s hard to believe and you would think my little pot belly would get in the way but I can do it.
Second of all, mom has taught me how to sit. I know I know. You’re laughing but really mom tells me to sit and I will put my fat bottom on the floor. Mom gets so excited over this. I think by sitting on demand, I’m teaching mom how to laugh. It works.
Third, when mom tells me to go to my room, I do. I’ve even been known to go to my room and slam the door to make a point.
And last but not least, when mom tells me to go to bed, I do. I will go to my room, do my business on my wizzy pad and then go into my bed. Mom and dad usually come in and tuck me in.
So go ahead and say it. You think I’m joking but I’m not. This pig has talent!
The past couple of days have just been so strenuous. By the time I take my naps, play around and cuddle, I’m just worn out. I want to just lay down and sleep. I’m not picky where. In fact, the past couple of nights I haven’t even gotten back up when mom has went to bed. Last night, she even checked on me because she was worried. I was all snuggled up in my blanket in my bed. Yawn – chat you up later. Oink oink snore….
These are some of my famous idols that I look up to and want to be as famous as one day. Can you name them? One day – I will be FAMOUS… more so than I am now… snort.

So lately I’ve become moms chef assistant in the kitchen. I love the nights when she lets me in the kitchen to help her with dinner. We go in and she makes the yummiest smelling things. Of course she makes me leave if she goes into the oven but it’s only for a few minutes.
She calls me her little sous chef. I call myself the cleaner. 🙂 For example, she chops up celery and I get to taste a few samples. (by the way, celery is a new thing for me. It was great!). When she chops up carrots or apples, I also get to taste a few. 🙂 And the other night was my favorite. Mom made homemade French fries and of course washed and peeled the potatoes. Guess who got to clean up all of the peels? Another new food that was wonderful. And yeah, I got to sample a couple of fries too. Snort.
