Well 2012 is up and going! Happy New Year from me. It was an interesting night last night. It was my first new years eve. Of course I didn’t make it until midnight but I did hear the things my mom called fireworks going off. They were loud and some of them scared my mom. It’s a good thing I was there to calm her down. Usually I’m the one that scares her when I bark but those cracker things were loud.
This morning I pulled a fast one on mom – snort. Usually I sleep in my crate in my room so I’m safe as mom calls it. Last night when I went to bed, I was totally exhausted so I didn’t test the crate door. Well, this morning I was ready for breakfast so I started squealing to wake up mom. I jumped on the door like I usually do and guess what? My door opened and I was a free pig – squeal! I had run of the house. Mom got up because she said I got too quiet. When she found me she called me her little Houdini. 🙂 I thought it was funny. My little tail was wagging so fast.
Mom hasn’t been feeling too well lately. Her back is hurting and I can relate to that. My big belly pulls on my back. She says she’s going to try to weigh me tomorrow. I can’t wait to see how much I’ve gained. I weighed 8.6 pounds last time. I’m sure it’s more than that now.
Well gotta run, had my bedtime snack so now it’s time to watch Cupcake Wars before bedtime. Oink oink out!
